Our First Long-Distance Trip!
We are thrilled to share highlights from our very first long-distance outing – a memorable day trip to the stunning Isle of Wight!
The adventure began with an exciting ferry ride, offering breathtaking views across the water and setting the tone for a day full of smiles and new experiences. Once we arrived, we headed straight for one of the island’s most iconic sights – The Needles. The views were unforgettable, and the chairlift ride gave everyone a chance to see the coastline from a whole new perspective.
Lunch brought classic seaside choices – fish and chips or jacket potatoes – enjoyed together with plenty of laughter and sunshine. The day continued with private demonstrations in glassmaking and sweet making, giving our group the chance to learn something new.
To end the trip, we relaxed with a joyful picnic on the sands of Ryde beach, soaking up the sea breeze and celebrating a successful and heartwarming day out.
It was a day full of firsts, fun, and friendship – and one we will all remember for a long time to come.
