Janazah Support

October 22, 2024

Just wanted to say Jazakakallahu Khairan to the Supporting Humanity team. From start to finish it was an excellent job and we couldn’t fault it one bit. My father would be proud. Please pass on our thanks to the team and ask them to forgive us for any shortcomings. May Allah reward you all massively for your generosity and efforts.

MashaAllah excellent session…

October 22, 2024

MashaAllah excellent session, very informative, well planned and professionally executed by everyone involved. I feel I am more prepared and confident to do a gus following the basic sunnah ways. JazakhAllahu khairan to the whole team, inshaAllah I await the opportunity now to be called upon to assist at a gus for a fellow muslimah.

Jazakhallah Kairan Brother Idrees

October 22, 2024

Brother Idrees,

Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.

Words cannot express my gratitude. Alhamdulillah, with the grace of Allah and all your help, my husband has been buried. As you said, “To Allah we belong and to Allah we shall return.” We are only guaranteed one thing in life, and that is death. However, my husband was my rock and my only real family in this country. We have many friends like you who are our family, but he was my rock.

Jazakallah Khayr for all the help, brother. May Allah bless you and your family in this world and in the hereafter. Your charity is truly amazing, and I can’t thank you and your team enough. Even at the graveyard, the men who brought my husband were so gentle and caring. I thank Gardens of Peace for recommending you, as I could not have chosen a better person to help me in this time of need.

I would like to donate some money and, In Sha Allah, will do so in the future.

Dear Supporting Humanity

October 22, 2024

You are too good. When my husband died at home, I didn’t know what to do. They took his body, and I didn’t even know where he was. A friend gave me a number, and I called. The man told me his name was Idris, and I told him my brother’s name is also Idris. He said he is my brother too. He asked me for the information he needed, and then he called me back to tell me where my husband was and that he was talking to the Coroner. Idris spoke to them and sorted everything for me.

He organized everything—he even did the washing and showed my husband’s face to our family and friends. He helped all my Christian family and friends too. He brought them to the mosque and explained everything. We even went to the graveyard, and he helped us so we could pay the graveyard three weeks after the burial.

We are originally from Nigeria and have no family here, but I will always remember what Idris told me: Supporting Humanity is my family. It is true. They showed so much love. Everyone is happy to help, and they are all volunteers. God has made people like this, and I couldn’t believe it, but now I believe because I have seen it with my own eyes.

Thank you

Idris and Supporting Humanity Angels

Dear Idris and the Supporting Humanity Team,

I cannot express how deeply grateful I am for your kindness and support during the most difficult time of my life. When my husband passed away, I was left with no family, little financial means, and an overwhelming sense of helplessness. Yet, you appeared in my life like an angel.

You never once made me feel like a burden. I sent you the information you requested, and somehow, you took care of everything. I still don’t fully know how or what you did, but you made sure my husband was buried with dignity, and you organized all the necessary arrangements while I sat at home, praying that God would help me.

Idris, you are truly an angel. Your parents gave birth to a person of remarkable compassion and selflessness. My prayers will always be with you and Supporting Humanity for the amazing work you do. I know I will never be able to repay what you did for me, but please know that your kindness will never be forgotten.

With eternal gratitude,

El Azizi

Janazah Ghusl workshop

October 22, 2024

As salaamu alaikum waruhmutullahe wabuhruhkahtuh. I attended the Janazah Ghusl workshop on 29/09/24. The sisters were all amazing, so compassionate and caring mashaAllah tabarukAllah. One sister in particular really stood out for me. The way she spoke, really touched my heart. And her words, by the permission of Allah, got me interested in chaplaincy. Do you have any recommendations on who or how to take forward my interest?

What a truly inspiring and humbling workshop. May Allah reward you all for your efforts, aameen and jazakAllah Khair.
