Salaam Brother Idris, Alhamdulillah, everything went well today with the funeral procedings.

Idris, I just wanted to say a huge thank you to the whole team for arranging everything so efficiently and quickly for us and just taking that burden off us at such a emotional time…really appreciate it and extremely grateful to you guys.

Dear Idris and all of the volunteers.

From the bottom of my heart and all of my family, I wish to pass on my gratitude for the support you gave to help my family following my father Abdul’s death.

In such difficult times, Idris was so helpful in the logistics and planning of the whole process. Despite the gardens of peace not having their own ghusl and Janazah facility due to the number of burials that day, your help allowed my father the dignity of such a beautiful and peaceful burial.

Brother Tauseef who oversaw the ghusl will remain in our duas as well as all of the brothers who were assisting. With the clarity of instructions, the sabar and how he ensured the dignity of my father throughout. I was proud to be able to do the ghusl rather than being afraid. He was able to make all of us present at peace and inshallah peace for my father.

The brothers who helped with transferring the body had so much care and graciousness.

The staff at the gardens of peace were also amazing in whole process of the burial and providing an imam to speak and do the duas following the burial.

At such difficult times in our lives you (Idris and all of the supporting supporting humanity volunteers) supported us all the way.

My first ghusl was a significant moment for me. I felt a deep sense of cleanliness and spiritual renewal afterwards. It was a peaceful experience that helped me feel closer to Allah swt and it would be something I’ll never forget. To think I attended a workshop on ghusl on Monday, and by Thursday, I performed my first ghusl. The team at the workshop was incredibly helpful, guiding me through each step and answering all my questions. Their support made the process clear and straightforward. Performing the ghusl was a refreshing experience, and I felt a great sense of accomplishment. I’m grateful for the team’s assistance, which made my first ghusl a positive and memorable experience.
